Your doctor has arranged with the hospital for your admission.
A Dominican associate will call you at home
a few days beforehand to obtain registration information, and answer your questions. Your doctor may also request that you have certain tests performed a few days before you are admitted.
Arrive at the hospital at the prearranged time and date. Enter through the main entrance doors.
After completing the admission procedure you will be escorted to your unit, where you will meet the people who will care for you.
If you have been scheduled for an outpatient test or procedure, arrive at outpatient registration 15 minutes ahead of time to complete the registration process. Many tests are on a walk-in basis. Register for all hospital-based outpatient visits (lab tests, X-rays, EKGs, etc.) at the admitting station near the front of the hospital. Outpatient Services are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
At Dominican Rehabilitation Services (Lifestyle Management, Workers Comp, etc.), sign up in the admissions office off the front lobby.
The Patient Accounting Office staff (831) 457-7001 will be happy to answer any questions you have about your hospital bill, insurance or other financial arrangements. To discuss your bill over the phone, please call weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (PST).
